Location:
Bora Bora is one of the nine islands in the French Polynesia.It is tiny 12 square mile island in the South Pacific Ocean.Because of its beauty It is also called the „Pearl of the Pacific”.
Nature:
Bora Bora  is surrounded by  a beautiful ring of colorful coral reef,also known as an „atoll”. It` s water is warm, clear turquoise ,full of tropical colored fish and giant manta rays .The highest top of this volcanic island is the „Mount Otemanu” at Bora Bora center.The small islands which are spread all around are called „motu” and they are known for the white sand beaches which are lined with coconut treas. There are lagoons formed by volcanoes. ”. The most famous one is”ocean rainbow” a  blue-green gradient lagoon which is said to have 7 colors. Bora Bora  is best known for its overwater thatched bungalows positioned in the middle of a peaceful lagoon.The most famous one is” St.Regis Bora Bora resort”. It is also known for its gorgeous look of the sunny skies and friendly locals .
Activities:
Visiting public beach called „Matira” is a must do.It is known for warm white sand,warm shallow waters where you can spend your day swimming,snorkeling or just relaxing on the sand.It is also recommended to do a scuba diving which will enable you to see manta rays, sharks, gentle Napoleon wrasses and other magical tropical fishes.You can also hike Mount Otemanu and explore Vaitape (Bora Boras main port). You can feed stingrays and sharks.Also there is a way of exploring Bora Bora` s water through sailboating,glass-bottom boats,kayaks,speedboats and Jet Skis.For a fancy souvenir you can purchase beautiful black pearl jewlery in Sibany Perle or by less expencive souvenir in  the local shops which are scattered along the street.

You can visit Bora Bora all year-round.November and April is the best time to go to Bora Bora.The temperature than is in the mid-70s to mid-80s.High season runs from May to October.The avarage water temperature in Bora Bora in winter reaches 27,4 C,in spring 27,3C in summer  temeprature rises to 28,6C and in autumn 28,9C.
